Diets and culinary wishes
We want to save you from long waiting times. We offer a scheduled service to help you avoid the crowds at the Adelboden-Oey railway. During the high season (beginning Februar until beginning March) the hotel's own bus travels between the hotel and Oey during both the morning and the afternoon, Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Wine is there to be drunk and enjoyed. It also offers an inexhaustible supply of stories which we wouldn't want to keep from you. From time to time we open our cellar – for tastings and discussions with you. We also regularly organise Wine & Dine events.
The hiking pass which we provide to you during the summer months means that the mountains lay open to you. You can enjoy free rides on mountain railways and busses throughout your entire stay in Adelboden and Kandersteg (from 13th June to 18th October 2020). Let yourself be carried up to the most beautiful mountain views, on the Tschentenalp, Silleren and on the high alpine plateau of the Engstligenalp. We are happy to advise you on the subject of hiking.
The region is also very easy to discover by bike. Six Koba-brand mountain bikes with LX components in various sizes are freely available at the hotel service desk.

Whether you need a snack after skiing or want a few morsels to accompany your pre-dinner drinks, the new snack menu offers hot and cold treats in the lobby from 12:30 p.m.
To dine in the hotel or somewhere else? On three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) you have the possibility to enjoy your dinner in a different hotel of your choice. Would you like to eat somewhere else at a different time or enjoy a fondue in rustic surrounding? You can of course do this at any time by signing off from the dinner.
Do you require a certain food or special diet? We are more than happy to cater to your individual requirements, whether in regards to an intolerance of lactose, glucose, gluten or any other allergies. Our cooks are experienced in the preparation of special diets and are also happy to fulfil any other culinary wishes you may have.
